Geek Love Loves the Geek Within

Geek Love is going inner space! We're going to explore that meditation-yoga-spiritual thing that seems to be all the rage lately. But, of course, this being Geek Love, we're going to do it GL style! Of course, costumes are optional but very welcome. Dress up as Ganesh, the half elephant patron of arts and sciences. Come in your finest Lululemon. Bring a meditation bowl.

We'll start out the evening with a fun, optional free beginner yoga class. As some of you know, I'm a trained RYT-200 yoga teacher, and I'll be running a class from 7-8 in my backyard, weather permitting (don't worry, we have a heat lamp!). Bring a mat if you're interested. Then we come back inside for Geek-style entertainment; play Leela, Deepak Chopra's Wii meditation video game. Let my Nintendo Entertainment System tell your future, Ouija-board style. Play card games with a tarot deck. Meditate in our meditation room. Drink some kombucha and we can all get high on life! Prize for anyone who becomes enlightened.

As always, light snacks and drinks (alcoholic and not) provided, but please feel free to bring your own.
