What we’re about
We are a group of primarily Pinellas County geeks who get together for lunch a few times a month. Some of us work from home, some work in small teams and others just really like to eat and socialize. Many of us are in the Ruby and iOS development community but we welcome and enjoy the company of all, even non developer geeks!
Important message to potential members:
Our lunches are not "tech networking" events. Come to geek out about code, math, science, video games, art and anything else that excites you. At Geek Lunch we don't share business cards, we share links to our public code repositories.
Our lunches aren't regularly scheduled, but we try to do one a month. We don't have scheduled "talks" during lunch but sometimes we'll try to have a theme to spark conversation. Our group isn't about "improving the Tampa Bay Tech community" -- we'll improve it by getting together and being awesome
