Geeks on Beer @ Hooters Escazú

Open discussion (in English) about internet startup ideas, entrepreneurship, programming, design, venture funding and startup operations. Social -- meet other startup founders, programmers, mentors, and investors.

We plan to have a regular (almost weekly) small meeting and occasionally plan larger events with visiting guests. RSVP so everyone knows who is attending. I will be attending every week I'm in town.

No fee for attending, but the beer isn't free (I'm open to the possibility in the future); we'll just split checks.

ATTN new members: How to find us: Look for the table with one or more laptops open. Put your cell # in the RSVP question so I can text you mine.

Inspired by Geeks on Beer Rio Brasil (http://pedromarins.com/horaextra-geeks-on-beer-meet-geeks-on-a-plane/), which was itself inspired by Geeks on a Plane (http://geeksonaplane.com/) (a 500 Startups (http://500.co/) event traveling the world).

Attention: Dave McClure (http://www.crunchbase.com/person/dave-mcclure), you have an open invitation to stop by for free beer en-route to any of your South American excursions.
