Impact Solutions Meetup — Collaboration (in our brand new office!)

Details

We're back with our monthly Impact Solutions Meetups, at a new location our new office at The Curtis Center, 601 Walnut Street!

Help Generocity (http://generocity.org/philly/) and the whole Technically Media (http://technicallymedia.com) team celebrate our new office space on May 11th by coming together to talk about COLLABORATIONS.

Speaker lineup:

Media Mobilizing Project (MMP) produces media, education and organizing infrastructure for people and organizations across the city; learn from Bryan Mercer some of the guiding principles they use galvanize to local movements. We’ll also get a sneak peek at their new film (http://groundworkfilm.com) “Groundwork: Justice in the Birthplace of America”

Kate Rivera from the Urban Affairs Coalition has helped to spearhead the KEYSPOTS (https://www.phillykeyspots.org/) program, bringing internet access to more than 20,000 Philadelphians AND the WorkReady (http://generocity.org/philly/2015/08/12/workready-comes-to-a-close-after-boosting-1500-youth/) Program, which last summer employed 1500+ youth. Find out how those relationships are managed

The Free Library recently brought together its business resources (http://generocity.org/philly/2016/01/28/free-library-business-resource-innovation-center/) and nonprofit resources (https://libwww.freelibrary.org/rfc/index.cfm) under one roof, to maximize how Philly’s citizens can get “good” done. Gillian Robbins and Caitlin Seifritz will talk about how the two programs work together to equip the community.

These meetups are meant to help leaders in Philly succeed by getting into the nitty gritty of what works (and what doesn't) for triple bottom line organizations. We want you to go home with tangible solutions for your organization and community.

We also want you to talk to people you haven't met before — come ready to network and share ideas.

We'll have extra time for networking and celebrations as we celebrate the new digs — see you there!
