Techmobile Tour at the Free Library of Philadelphia

A reported 41% of Philadelphians do not have access to internet in their homes.

To help bridge this gap, the Free Library of Philadelphia has created the Techmobile, a roving computer lab outfitted with broadband service, audiovisual equipment, laptops, and iPads, plus a Librarian on board who can provide one-on-one assistance along with Library services such as card registration.

Join us at this Philly Social Good Meetup at the Free Library to discuss the concept of the Techmobile in addition to their community Hot Spot computer labs, take an onboard tour of the Techmobile, and ask questions to the program managers of Techmobile.

I had a great time at the meetup last night--touring the Techmobile was great, I'll definitely spread the word about it to my friends.
