Evernote: Where has it come from? Where is it going? Can I build on its success?

Evernote: Where has it come from? Where is it going? Can I build on its success?

Details

When I joined Evernote two years ago we had 35 employees, and 3.5 million users. Two years later, we now have 250 employees and 40 million users.

In this meetup we'll explore how a small tech start-up grew this fast, what Evernote is doing right now to continue that growth, and what we've announced for the future.

I'll also speak a little about my own part in Evernote, starting from the call I got one day from Evernote's CEO asking if I'd like to join, and why I quit my job at a multinational to join this young, promising company.

But mostly I expect to answer questions: What does Evernote do? How do we market it? How do we make money from a free app? Most importantly How can you take advantage of, and build on Evernote's success.

Pierre-Emmanuel Boiton, based out of Evernote's Zurich office will also attend to help answer questions and talk about how he helps support communities such as this one. If you want to know more about how Evernote can help tech and entrepreneurial communities, Pierre-Emmanuel is your man.
