This is an exclusive "Girlfriend" group for those of us that are done with college and want the closeness we felt with friends we had growing up.  This group will comprise of girls that aren't catty, don't get jealous easily, not self-absorbed, you've been described as sweet, caring, with a good heart, and want to develop genuine friendships with GENUINE people.  Also if you want a group of girlfriends that will be there for you through breakups, sickness, marriage, funerals, loss of a job, and different life changes this is the group for you.  This isn't going to be a meetup group for drinking or partying...its going to be for developing those friendships, having fun, sharing hobbies, taking pictures around the city, trips, being like "sisters", etc  I have sisters and want to help this group become like a family.  We will have big and small events.  This group will help you find girls to get your nails done with, bridesmaids, gym buddies, wing women, etc.  We will even host some singles and married events.   Join this group to end all of those other meetup groups you're in just to meet friends and meet the ones you want to have for LIFE!  I have!

The small intimate meetups in this group will lead to strong friendships! 

• This group is for those in their 20's to mid 30's (20-35)
• Please remain as active as possible and rsvp for events!  No cancellations within 24 hrs of a meetup unless for an extreme emergency...all last minute cancellations must email me with an explanation.  This helps prevent no-shows and allows for courtesy! 
• All members must have a personal picture up in their profile to be admitted to this group!
• Also this group is perfect if you have food allergies (gluten, milk, soy, etc) or have a strict diet (vegan, vegetarian, etc)  We have tons of food meetups that are careful of these along with cookie swaps!
• You must be within very close proximity to NYC as 95% of the events will be in NYC!
• We will do wine tasting, friendship developing meetups, board game nights, chick flicks, bookclubs, charity events (trying to start up our own nonprofit eventually), couples events, young professional groups, networking events, speed-dating, museum friday nights, quiet coffee/hanging out events, etc
• Those that can be happy doing mostly anything if in the right company, a very happy personality is a plus, loves the sunshine and meeting genuine girlfriends!
• This is for single, engaged, and married ladies who want to meet ladies as sweet, considerate, sometimes lazy, incredibly motivated, empowered, and genuine as them!
• 3 Non-shows/cancelling last minute (within 2 hours of the event occurring) will get you booted from the group (just courtesy). 
• When you get approved for membership in this group you will get an email saying your input is valuable...please suggest meetups you're interested in and try to stay active as only then will you get the most out of this meetup group and help us become more like a "family".

• **Annual Membership Dues-  $6 within the first 35 days of joining, through paypal once a year to cover meetup fees, and event planning.  This is an exclusive group for genuine friendships that is very difficult to find in NYC.  Paying a membership fee helps keep members active, pays the organizer fee for the group, and gets the right kind of member for this group, please do not join this group if you can't pay the annual membership dues.  **
