Data for Decision (1968)

Roger Tomlinson, creator of the first computerized system to analyze geographic data, describes The Canada Land Inventory Geo-information System, a digital solution used to help manage and develop land. His innovations paved the way for today's modern map making technologies. 22 min

No Time for Ugliness (1965)

A discussion of the problems faced by American cities in the 1960s due to unsightly urban growth.  It focuses on the problems that occur when businesses are allowed to mar the landscape with ugly billboards and neon signs and cause pollution. 24 min

The Impossible Map (1947)

This unique educational film features stop motion animation of experiments with grapefruit and turnips to illustrate the difficulty of presenting a true picture of the world on a flat surface. 10 min
