Tell us about yourself. What work do you do with geography, GIS, or geodata? Why are you excited about GeoPhilly?

I am still involved with CCP (Community College of Philly) where I helped establish a Geospatial Student Club (GSC). It was established primarily to maintain a working knowledge of GIS between the often long gaps between course offerings as well as to provide collaborative opportunities to work on real world projects. Geophilly excites me because it appears to be a community of diverse people who have drunk the koolaide.

What geo-related topics are you interested in?

GPS, Photogrammetry, surprising relationships between seemingly disparate data sets, remote sensing, possibly UAV applications, exploring new possibilities.

Are you interested in presenting at a future event?

possibly, but not right now

I am a Philly native who has always (mostly) lived fairly close to the Wissahickon. Since I was about 5 years old I have always liked pictures and to know where things are.Fast forward: Nothing has changed much.
