The Geological Society of the Oregon Country is dedicated to the study of geology in the Pacific Northwest and is open to persons with all levels of education and professional backgrounds. Based in Portland, Oregon, GSOC is a non-profit organization founded in 1935 by Dr. Edwin T. Hodge, geology professor at the University of Oregon. For more about our upcoming events go to gsoc.org.
