Get Your Bot On! is a 3-day robotics hackathon where participants imagine, design and prototype their robot ideas. On Sept 11-13, 2015 over 130 makers, hackers, professionals and kids will imagine and develop robots within the theme "Healthy: People and Environments" at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto. Participants will create robots for healthier people, homes, workplaces, schools, play and the environment. The Get Your Bot On! team will provide a basic kit of technology and all the expertise and mentorship required to develop a moving prototype in this accelerated innovation environment. Everyone demonstrates their robots on Sunday and a judging panel will select the best robot in three categories including Innovation, Design for Humans, and Technical Excellence. Sunday demonstrations and the showcase of local robotics companies and projects are open to the public and tickets are available on the site.
