How do you Get Your Climb On?

Mostly indoors at Dogpatch and MC, really really want to start climbing outside more often. At this point, all top rope, though I'm toying with the idea of getting lead certified. Climbing is sort of my zen time, I generally try not to get competitive about it, enjoy the people and time spent and get a good workout in.

When did you first begin climbing? What is your level? What is your favorite type of climbing? Best place you ever climbed?

Dabbled with it in high school and college, started climbing regularly about 3 years ago when I moved up to SF. Currently a V3-V4 boulderer, 5-11A-B top rope. I prefer ropes over bouldering but I'm flexible. Best place I ever climbed was Mt. Diablo a couple years ago. Beautiful day, fun and challenging climbing (then).

What does Safe climbing mean to you?

When you fall you don't get hurt.

By joining GYCO this confirms you accept & assume all responsibility & risks that could occur in climbing that you voluntarily release, forever discharge & agree to not hold harmless GYCO or any of its Organizers from any & all claims while in GYCO.

Ok.
