How do you Get Your Climb On?

Mostly in the gym, but I'm hoping to climb on real rock as much as possible! Sport climbing and bouldering are great, and I'd like to get some multi-pitch experience as well.

When did you first begin climbing? What is your level? What is your favorite type of climbing? Best place you ever climbed?

Started climbing in late 2012. Best I've climbed in the gym is 5.11d/V5, but that means nothing outside. Sport climbing is probably my favorite. I've got pretty limited experience climbing outside, but Mt. St. Helena was fantastic.

What does Safe climbing mean to you?

Decking: bad. Enjoy, push yourself, but don't let your ego get in the way.

By joining GYCO this confirms you accept & assume all responsibility & risks that could occur in climbing that you voluntarily release, forever discharge & agree to not hold harmless GYCO or any of its Organizers from any & all claims while in GYCO.

Of course.

In my mid-30s, but I just started climbing in August 2012. I've climbed mostly in the gym, but the few times I've climbed outside I've been thrilled.
