Well if you mean what do i like to climb, Trad rocks, but i am better at face, and if it is rock, i want to climb it
2 years on a rope, a year before that with a little bit of bouldering, about 18 months on the sharp end. I have lead 5.11- sport, 5.10+/- trad, i have two full racks, 6 ropes, and a vehicle to get me where i need to go. Steep multi-pitch trad, although i have a soft spot for going fast (and safe, no soloing for this boy) up easy terrain. How can there be a best place?? The valley for the shear splendor of the lines, Smith for the compactness and ease of access, J-tree for it's winters, Castle Crags in Shasta for it's isolation.
Coming home at the end of the day so i can climb again tomorrow. It means wearing a helmet, checking my gear and my partners gear, knowing where i am and what i am capable of, having a headlamp, and respecting gravity.
?? To not hold harmless? Don't you mean hold harmless? But yes, i take responsibility for my actions.
Hey all, i am a climber in NorCal, based on the west side of Mt Lassen. Climb as often as i can find partners, 3-5 days a week. Trad, sport, alpine, i just have the bug. I am willing to travel, and have many local crags with in easy drive of my home.
First time, appears to be a well organized group.
