May is Mountains-to-Sea Trail Month. For most of May, we'll focus our activities on sections of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.

The Mountains-to-Sea Trail stretches over 1000 miles from the NC-TN border to the NC coast. It shows off the diverse beauty our state! Interested in learning more about the Mountains-to-Sea Trail? This clinic will tell you everything you need to know the trail. You'll learn the history, the route, and everything you need to know to take advantage of this unique part of our State Parks System.

We'll also hear from 2 GetExploring! members who are planning to hike the entire trail this fall. You'll learn what goes into planning a hike a trail like this, the types of gear they'll use, and have a chance to ask questions about their plan.

We'll have refreshments, and we'll be doing some great gear giveaways! We look forward to seeing you there!
