Join us for a hike along a portion of the Mountains to Sea trail that runs through Falls Lake State Recreation Area. The Falls Lake Trail follows the the shore line of Falls Lake, a man-made lake near Raleigh.

Because this is the last hike of MST month, we are going to make this one a little bit longer! We will meet up at the Tailrace Fishing Area parking lot, just below the dam. We're looking to hike about 12 miles, from Falls Lake Dam to Red Fox Run, near Possom Track Rd. Due to parking restrictions, this will be an out-and-back hike.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and supportive shoes. Bring plenty of water, and snacks or a lunch. This time of year, bug spray and sunscreen are never a bad idea!
