Paddle at Merchants Millpond

Come paddle in a swamp with us at Merchants Millpond state park. The millpond was built in 1811 and covers around 760 acres. We will paddle through cypress and tupelo gum trees. Be sure to bring bug spray and sun screen. Canoes are available through the park for rental. Canoes are $5 for the first hour and $3 for each additional hour. We will paddle for 2 hours.

We will meet at the park visitor center.
