Canceled Full Moon Paddle Canceled

We are canceling this event tonight because of an increased chance of thunderstorms. There are storms heading our way tonight and we don't want to risk being caught out on the river with lightening. Sorry guys, hopefully we can catch the next full moon.

With the hot weather of summer upon us, we'll take advantage of the cooler temperatures evenings can bring. This is a full moon - so we'll set off a little later than usual so we can have the unique experience of a moonlight paddle.

We'll meet at Town Common at 7:30p, and run a shuttle to Port Terminal. We hope to be on the water by 8p so we can see the sunset from the water. About half of the paddle will be in the dark. Because we will be paddling in the dark it is important that everyone have a light and whistle on their PFD. We also encourage everyone to bring a glowstick so we can see each other easier.

The paddle is 3.5 miles. Kayaks, canoes, SUPs are all welcome!

Be sure to pack bugspray and water!
