Extreme Hiking at Linville Gorge Wilderness

Join us for a fun packed weekend of extreme Hiking in the Linville Gorge Area. There are three hikes planned and 2 nights in a beautiful house in Gingercake Acres.

1-Hawksbill Mountain- This brief warmup will only cover 1 mile round trip but provides spectacular views of things to come- Friday afternoon

2-Wilson Creek- This 9 mile loop is considered by many to to be one of the most difficult hikes in NC- Poorly marked, 12 Creek Crossings, Several Waterfalls, Prepare to get wet. Wear water shoes, Bring Bathing Suit

3- Shortoff/Table Rock- 8 Strenuous miles- Key Swap, Very rugged Terrain.
