Our GetHiking! Summertime Fitness Hikes are especially designed for all fitness levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) and will help prepare for our upcoming, more difficult hikes this fall!

Meet in front of visitor's center-look/ask for Lisa.

Current dates scheduled:

July 9, July 10, July 24, August 6!

Whether your goal is to become stronger, fitter, faster, or simply to get in a mile or two before lunchtime, you will enjoy these hikes!

Details:

• Hikers can expect to cover an average of 2-7+ miles, depending on fitness levels, speed, and time spent on trail.

• We will spend a max of 3-4 hours on the trail for each hike.

• Go your own pace (there is always someone on the hike who will have the same/similar pace as you.)

• No lunch breaks or long rest breaks on these hikes-stop when you want for quick snacks/recovery periods, & then resume the hike when you are ready.

• Trails covered will vary on each hike.

The sunrays seem to be especially brutal this summer! I bought the biggest "floppy sunhat" that I could find (with UPF 50+) & suggest you do the same!
