Let's hike the Cedar Ridge Trail up the Blue Ridge escarpment to the Bluff Mountain Overlook in Doughton Park.

This is an out and back hike that includes beautiful meadows and great views from Bluff Mountain, along the Blue Ridge Parkway. 16 miles, with the first 4.5 a continuous uphill hike (and, being an out-and-back, the last 4.5 miles a continuous downhill). This is a strenuous hike. Water is available at the Doughton Park campground, about 6 miles into the hike.
