GetHiking! Early morning at Umstead State Park

We continue our effort to keep hiking despite the heat with another early Wednesday hike, this one on an abbreviated stretch of the Sycamore Trail at Umstead State Park. We will start at the bike & bridle trailhead on the Glenwood Avenue side of the park, and hike about 4.5 miles. We'll hike the entire loop and an abbreviated stretch of the lead-in trail.
We should be off the trail around 9.
