GetHiking! Quick Saturday Morning Hike at Umstead State Park

Busy schedules during the holidays get in the way of hiking times. We will be finished by 10:30 am so we can begin our day full of energy!

We'll hike from the Harrison Avenue entrance off I-40. We'll start on the Loblolly Trail, hike out to the Reedy Creek Trail, hang a left, then go left again at the Reedy Creek Lake Trail for the return to the parking lot. About a four and a half mile hike, half on single-track trail, half on smooth multiuse trail. A scenic hike!

Rain will cancel the hike.
