NEW! St. Anthony Foundation - Help Serve Lunch to 2,600

NEW! St. Anthony Foundation - Help Serve Lunch to 2,600

Details

Arrive Promptly at 9:15am

After a brief orientation the group will join staff and other volunteers to serve about 2,600 lunches to our poor and homeless neighbors. Volunteers will serve trays, bus tables, work on the food line, and in our prep kitchen. All volunteers will have the opportunity to experience several different positions. On their own lunch break the volunteers are invited (urged!) to share food and conversation with our guests at the Dining Room tables. Your group is our guest as well and do not need to bring lunches.

1:45pm

The group departs.

Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Water and restrooms are available. There is limited space to store valuables, we recommend that you bring only what you will need for the day.

St. Anthony’s is a civic anchor in San Francisco, providing stability to low-income residents of the city and inspiring hope through hot meals, warm clothes, medical care, personal guidance, job search assistance, and poverty education.

St. Anthony's is excited to have you volunteer and help move their mission forward.
