Get Healthy, Knoxville is open to anyone who wants to learn how to cook plant-based, vegetarian, whole-foods. At our monthly gatherings, dinner and recipes are provided to attendees; live food demonstrations are shown; and nutritional and educational information is presented. If you're interested in becoming "plant strong", or you want to learn new recipes for preparing vegetarian, whole-foods, this network is for you! We prepare foods that are totally "plant strong", dairy free, caffeine free, alcohol free, and free of strong or irritating spices. Our meals contain minimum amounts of oil and refined sugar.

(Please note that occasionally, products used in preparing the meals will be made available to participants, at the discretion of the organizers and sponsors. Get Healthy, Knoxville is sponsored by area Seventh-day Adventist churches, which encourage community residents to live a simple, wholesome and healthier life through exercise, plenty of sunshine, spiritual growth, and a vegetarian, plant-based, whole foods diet.)
