GDI Code and Coffee Night - April

Code and Coffee is a monthly opportunity for you to put your skills to work. Bring your laptop, your recent projects and your programming problems.

Have a project idea and some skills, but haven’t attended a GDI event yet? Want to focus on helping others with their projects? You're welcome too!

As a group, we’ll hold each other accountable for completing our projects, and provide on-going support and feedback.

This event is free, but we ask that you make a small purchase. The shop is being kind enough to open outside their normal hours for us, and we like supporting local businesses. :)

Feel free to come by for the whole thing or drop in when you have time.

Need a ride to the event or willing to drive others? Please share in the comments!

Check out our available books and add a comment if there's anything you want to borrow from the library.

Please also comment about what you'll be working on or if you want help with something.

I moved from San Francisco not too long ago so I'm still trying to figure out this city. I don't think this 21st street coffee and tea is the one in downtown is it?

Also, feel free to let us know what neighborhood you're coming from or if you need help getting there. Some friendly folks should be able to make sure you make it to the right place with good directions or a ride. :)

Ahh okay. It isn't the one I am thinking of. Hopefully I can get a ride!

I am revisiting this field after leaving IT in 2008 (Help Desk). I have been looking into coding. I will do my best to make it to the meet on April 11, for I will be in transit from work at the time. I look forward to joining you all this evening.

Just a head's up...if you use GPS to get to 21st Street Coffee in the Strip, you might land at their original location. Just walk a few doors down on Smallman...they're now right next to Kaya.

Code & Coffee is a great event for new people. It's usually a mix of some people doing work and some people socializing. There are always friendly folks who are welcoming to new people. I hope we'll see you there. :)
