Learn about some of the new functionality in HTML5 and CSS3 and how it can help you build better websites.

This class is targeted at beginner and intermediate levels.

Prerequisites: basic understanding of HTML & CSS

This is a one day workshop on Saturday, November 17th. The class runs from 10am-2pm. We ask that people arrive by 9:45, so that we can get started on time.

We will have an hour break for lunch around noon. Lunch is not included in the cost of class. There is a Panera Bread and a Jimmy John's close by in Bakery Square.

Students are required to bring their own laptop for classes. If you do not have a laptop, please contact us at outreach@girldevelopitpgh.com before registering, and we’ll see if we can work something out.

Workshop preparation:

Please ensure you have the following installed on your machine prior to class:

A modern browser (we recommend Chrome (https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/)) A text editor you feel comfortable using to edit HTML & CSS (we recommend Sublime Text (http://www.sublimetext.com/))
