Introduction to Ruby on Rails

Details
In conjunction with the Nickel City Ruby Conference (http://nickelcityruby.com/), we are excited to announce an Introduction to Ruby class taught by Joseph Hsu (http://twitter.com/jhsu), utilizing his own curriculum.
We will be using Ruby on Rails to build a dynamic web application. Rails has been used to build sites such as Twitter.com (in the early days), Hulu.com, FunnyorDie.com, and Jobster.com.
In this class, you will learn to:
Get started with Ruby on Rails Understand the Rails development environment Learn the basics of ruby and rails conventions Working with an MVC (Model View Controller) framework How to debug errors Start with an idea and build an application and actually see it live! We will be hosting an Install Fest the night before the course to help people get their environment prepared for the class. It is highly recommended you attend to at least meet the instructor and others.
