JavaScript is a the language of interactivity on the web. Ever used Google maps? Clicked on something to make it appear or hide? Seen a slideshow of images? You have used JavaScript!
Learn how to begin creating interactive websites. We will be covering basic Javascript, to the JQuery library, dynamic HTML, JSON and APIs (don't worry this will all make sense by the end of class!)
Because JavaScript interacts with HTML elements, we suggest having a working knowledge of HTML as a pre-requisite for this course.
This 4-class JavaScript course runs on the following schedule:

Class 2: Functions, Arrays, Loops and Objects
Wednesday, May 22nd from 6:00 - 8:00pm Class 3: Introduction to jQuery (http://www.girldevelopit.com/assets/core-javascript-jquery/class3.html)
Wednesday, May 29th from 6:00 - 8:00pm Class 4: AJAX, APIs and sharing data
Wednesday, June 5th from 6:00 - 8:00pm
