Code & Coffee & 3D Printing!!

Code & Coffee & 3D Printing!!

Details

Code & Coffee is an ongoing opportunity for you to practice your skills, meet new friends, and get help if you need it. Bring your laptop, your recent projects, and your programming problems!

3D Printing
This month we'll be 3D printing holiday ornaments or decorations with the help of Proto's awesome staff! Be sure to bring your own STL or OBJ file on a USB flash drive or create one on site. Visit thingiverse.com (http://www.thingiverse.com/) and tinkercad.com (http://www.tinkercad.com/) to find and modify designs. Feel free to get in touch with the Proto team (http://www.protobuildbar.com/) with any questions you might have.

All are welcome regardless of gender or skill level, whether or not you've attended past Girl Develop It events. If you're a beginner, we'll be right there to help you work through your questions as needed.

Intermediate and advanced folks are welcome to join as well. Please come share your wisdom and advice!

Code & Coffee events are relaxed and informal, and are intended as a way for our community to work and play together while providing each other with ongoing support and feedback.

This event is free, though of course we encourage you to support our fantastic host, Proto Build Bar (http://www.protobuildbar.com/)!

Proto is a fun, hands-on place where people of all ages and experience levels can come together around a simple, yet powerful idea: “I want to make something great.”

About Girl Develop It

Girl Develop It (http://www.girldevelopit.com/) (GDI) launched in 2010 with a simple concept; make software development accessible and affordable to all women in New York City with little to no development or training experience. GDI now has 49 chapters and is an international 501c3 non-profit organization. The massive growth is projected to help women throughout the globe enhance their skill sets, illuminate their passions or hobbies to make beautiful code and websites, and spread the principles of effective software development.

Visit www.girldevelopit.com (http://www.girldevelopit.com/) for more information. All students must be 18+.
