Found it really valuable as a starting class on the topic. At points it went fast but the leaders and TA were very approachable and helpful. It encouraged me to try other similar classes.

Thank you to all of you who attended! We loved having you. Please check your email for a brief post-class survey. If you have a moment, we'd love your feedback so that we can make future classes even better.

We'd also like to thank you for your patience with the TV cameras this week! Southfield Public TV is doing a segment on GDI Detroit including footage from this class. The piece will be available on social media when it airs, so we'll make sure to share it with all of you!

Hi everyone! As a heads up for those of you who are traveling to class tonight from outside the city: We just learned that there will be temporary freeway closures today due to Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to the 2014 North American International Auto Show. Both I-94 eastbound and the Lodge (M-10) southbound will be completely closed starting at approximately 5:15 p.m. for the Vice Presidential motorcade. We don't know exact times, but the closures should be brief.

It was good - informative and got a lot of instruction in. It may have moved a tad quickly for absolute beginners, though. Maybe.

Thanks for the feedback, Valerie! We're always working to improve our classes to ensure our students have the best possible experience. We'll be asking students to complete a post-class survey on Wednesday, and we would love your thoughts & feedback there as well.

If you think you would benefit from reviewing the course materials again, you are more than welcome to attend any future sessions of Intro to HTML & CSS free of charge. We definitely want you to get the most you can out of the class, so just let us know if there's anything we can offer to help you do that. :)

Hi everyone! We have a significant waiting list for this class, so please let us know if you will be unable to attend so we can offer your seat to others who are waiting. If you do need to cancel, we will happily offer you a tuition credit to attend a future class.

If you didn't get a spot in the class, contact me because I paid for a second person who can't make it.

Ugh, I had a feeling this was going to fill up. Please let me know if another spot opens up.

Hi Lauren! We typically offer this class at least once per quarter in Detroit, and there are often sessions in the suburbs in between. Stay tuned for upcoming dates! :)

  • Kerry S.

How do I pay for a second person? I can't seem to find an option for that through meet up.

    • Erika C.

So glad we were able to figure this out, Kerry! See you in class! :)
