Introduction to AngularJS

Details
AngularJS is a tool to build dynamic web applications with just JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You can build fairly complicated applications with very little code. This workshop is for people who are new to Angular JS. We’ll review core JavaScript concepts, introduce you to MVC (Master, View, Controller) design patterns, and then do some hands-on development.
You'll need basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You don’t need programming experience, but you do need to be familiar with front-end web technologies. If you have taken HTML/CSS for Beginners and Javascript for Beginners with us, you'll be fine.
This workshop runs from 11 am to 4 pm. We’ll start with an hour to get setup with the tools you will need; the class itself starts at noon. To fully participate in the class, you'll need node, npm, and bower. Using the package installers at http://nodejs.org/download/ for node and npm, and then you can install Bower following the instructions at http://bower.io/ . If you are comfortable with the command line, you can install these tools yourself and join us at noon. If not, please come to the install hour.
