JS 202: AJAX Workshop

In this evening workshop, we will talk about AJAX and JSONP, the technologies that let websites pull information in dynamically from servers. These technologies are essential to modern websites. Just like with our one-day workshops, we'll have hands-on exercises throughout the night.

This workshop assumes you've either attended our JS and jQuery workshops or have learnt those topics elsewhere.

If you're interested in helping out as a teaching assistant, please let us know.

Thank you to Adobe for the great location!

If you'd like to attend but cannot afford the cost, please request a GDI scholarship.

Please note that we cannot issue refunds, since there's an overhead to issuing refunds via Meetup.com and we already offer the workshops at such a low-cost. We put proceeds into the chapter fund, which we use as our scholarship fund.

I didn't attend the class but I did pay for it and would like to be included in any follow up material being sent to people who did attend. Thank you.

Hi Michelle, great question. You might need to park farther from AT&T Park and walk, if you can. It's generally easier to get in and out if you stay away from freeway entrances, too. Try and start at 7th and Townsend, head towards the lower numbers, and make a left around the building. Avoid King.

I will be coming from the South Bay and it looks like there is a Giant's game tonight. What do you advise for parking? Thank you!
