Since our last algorithms workshops were so popular, we’ve scheduled 2 more: one is tomorrow night, and the other is April 25th. If you’ve had any basic introduction to programming (for loops, arrays), that should be enough prerequisite for those, we don’t actually write any code during them.
We also have 3 events this weekend: the PairUp, a great way of practicing what you’ve learnt, and the Intro to WebProgramming with Node.JS, a workshop for those of you who’ve already learnt intermediate JS and want to go deeper. On Sunday, there’s the Android workshop offered by CodePath.
Our UX teachers Sheba and Gwen have been working on a longer version of their workshop, based on the great feedback from the first two, and that one is on April 27th.
Remember that if you’re looking for something to do this summer, Gnome has an outreach program for women in open source with a $5000 stipend, applications due May 1st.
WomenWhoCode has a ton of regular study groups now, be sure to check them out.
