Intermediate HTML & CSS - August Weekend Intensive

Ready to expand your knowledge of HTML & CSS? This class is for you!

Through this two day intensive taught by Cheri Allen, you'll get a thorough introduction to HTML5 and CSS3 to build on your previous knowledge. You'll get hands-on experience working with HTML5 features like semantic elements and forms, and you'll learn new CSS3 properties and abilities including transformations, transitions, and animation. Finally, we'll dig into responsive design and browser compatibility.

You'll leave with readily-applicable skills and we'll be there to answer any questions you may have along the way!

Overview of this 2-day course:

Saturday, August 17:
Part I, Structure Standards and HTML5: 10am - 12pm
Part II, Introduction to CSS3: 12pm to 2 pm

Sunday, August 18:
Part I, Advances in HTML5: 10am - 12pm
Part II, Intro to Responsive Design and Compatibility: 12pm to 2 pm

At this time, you will need to provide your own laptop - PC or Mac - to participate in the course.

**It is highly recommended that you take our introductory course (or have previous experience with HTML & CSS) prior to taking this class. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS are assumed.
