Girls, Gadgets, Geeks, and Games!

Our Q4 Girl Geek Dinner is going to be all about engaging people with technology in new and exciting ways. Connect colorful blocks to build an electronic circuit, talk to your fuzzy new A.I. friend, create your own toy, program a colorful robotic sphere, and play! These companies make technology and learning really, really fun!

We’ll have lots of gadgets on hand as well as representatives from several of the companies to share their stories. Featured companies and gadgets include:

Atoms Express

littlebits

Sphero by Orbotix

Cubelets from Modular Robotics

Tentative Itinerary:

6:00 - 6:30 - Optional: Network & Happy Hour (cash bar)

6:30 - 6:50 - Dinner

6:50 - 7:00 - Welcome & Event Introduction

7:00 - 7:30 - 5 Minute Company Presentations

7:30 - 8:30 - Play!

This event is designed for both Girl Geeks and Women Geeks! Women, please feel free to either come on your own or bring your daughter/niece/mentee/friend. Girls are also welcome to attend with their fathers (yes, Dads, that means your daughter can bring you this time!). When you RSVP please indicate if you are bringing a child with you, and her age.

Dinner is generously sponsored by Return Path, iTriage, Cloud Elements, and Code Talent. Galvanize is providing an outstanding event space. It’s going to be a fantastic event and we are so excited to have you there!

Let's play!

p.s. We are hoping to add a few more companies, so stay tuned as we get closer!

(If you're a man who would like to attend, please encourage your female friend to bring you as her '+1'. Also, our group is emphatically queer and transgender friendly.)

I am writing a blog post for my company re: women in technology. I was wondering if we can use any of the photos from this event for the post? Does anyone know who I can ask?
