Technology and Marketing: From Mind to Map

Imagine you could read your customer’s thoughts on an emotional level or reach them with just the right deal, in just the right location to get them to buy. Technology, and the science behind it, has brought a new level of sophistication to many industries, and marketing is no exception.

Join other girl geeks (and boys!) for an evening of exploration around topics in marketing that leverage new technologies to reach and understand consumers on a more personal level than ever before.

Diana Lucaci, founder and CEO of True Impact Marketing, will be providing an introduction to Neuromarketing. She will explain why one would use brain measurements for insights, what can be accurately measured, and how to get started.

Katerina Juskey, a Neurofeedback Specialist from True Impact Marketing, will be joining Diana to provide insights on the technology behind neuromarketing.

Asif Khan, consultant and founder of the Location Based Marketing Association, will provide a perspective on the state of location based marketing – the techniques and technology, and how they are being applied.

By the end of the night you’ll have a deeper understanding on how technology is helping companies better understand and attract you as a consumer.

May we formally introduce our esteemed speakers:

SYPA (Stuff You'll Probably Ask)

You: What time do the presentations start?

Us: Doors open at 6:30pm and we aim to begin the discussion at 7:00pm. Before and after the talks, there are opportunities for conversation, and the enjoyment of drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

You: Why is there a $10 charge?

Us: Some months we get help (sponsorship) with food and drink and some months we organize this ourselves. We usually make a small loss, but don't mind, because we're really passionate about the meetup and network.

Hi, I'm a new member here, I was hoping to come to this event and meet you all, however, something came up last minute and I won't be able to attend:(
I opened my spot a few seconds ago and I can see that it's already taken, whooo the speed :)

I feel a bit silly... It says there's one spot to RSVP, but no matter what I do, I can't grab the spot if its truly available. My attempts have either removed or confirmed that I'm on the wait list. *scratching head*

Hi Aeryn, One spot did open up but someone grabbed it quickly. I'm thinking you may have been trying to RSVP at the same time :/

We don't record the sessions, but Sandi Jones, our guest blogger for the event, will be writing a recap of the night which we will post on our website.
