Girls in Tech (GIT) is a global organization with a mission of providing educational, networking and mentorship activities to increase the number of girls and women interested in technology, computer science, engineering, product marketing, design, digital media and entrepreneurship.

Our local GIT chapter focused on promoting opportunity awareness, education and empowerment of women both involved and interested in technology careers in southeastern Wisconsin.

Our goal is to focus initiatives on promoting collaboration and mentoring, as well as developing exposure and education opportunities in the technology and entrepreneurship arenas. Some of these resources include educational workshops and lectures, round table discussions, social engagements and recruiting events.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
