I want the citizens of Philadelphia to care for their community and take responsibility for the overall health of Philadelphia's citizens. We all share this space and must work to keep it beautiful and restore communities to livable spaces and give the residents a sense of pride when they enter their neighborhoods. The people that recognize the problems and have solutions are the ones that must recognize their moral responsibility to help another citizen that needs assistance. If you have a solution, that solution should be utilized for those that have a problem to be solved. Showing love to another, pure altruism, can break down barriers, spread like a virus and then we can honestly say that we are the "City of Brotherly Love". Giving to another without anything in return is the best gift each citizen can give to our home city and it's residents.
I would like to meet people that resist rejective behavior. In other words, allowing another to prove their character and then you can make a judgment about that person based on the true behavior characateristics and not physical characteristics.
I will do any volunteer work that I believe is making an instant or close-to-instant impact in a person's life.
I am interested in hosting events.
Born & raised in Southwest Philly. I attended West Catholic H.S., Cheyney Univ. & now work for the US Navy. I began volunteering as a young boy with my father. For the past several years I've been volunteering at Philabundance.
So far, so good! I will be meeting up with them again in April 2014.
