 Traffic Skills 101

This is our Nation's premiere street bicycling program taught by instructors certified by the League of American Bicyclists. Learn the basics of bicycle and helmet fit. Learn state bicycle laws. Learn how to predict and prevent crashes, and how to bail out as a last resort! Learn how to operate your bicycle in a skillful and confident manner, in any traffic -- any time! This class is designed to be of value to new and veteran cyclists.  Class begins at 9am and finishes at 5pm.  Global Bikes, 835 N. Gilbert Rd. #111 Gilbert, AZ 85234

Bring your bike and be prepared to ride it as there is a ride portion of this class.

The TS 101 class gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail.  Recommended for adults and children above age fourteen, this fast-paced, eight-hour course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling.

There is a $35 fee for this class, however participants completing this class will be awarded a $25 gift certificate. Cash, check, or credit card payment at time of class.

    Good class - learned some new things and skills, and good review for others. Highly recommend taking the class especially if you are new to cycling.

    I highly recommend this class for anyone riding on the road. The instructors are friendly and the information they give you could save your life. I really injoyed the parking lot activities and the group ride, taken at the end of the class, really boosted my confidence on the road.
