Please feel free to suggest ideas for venues, speakers, discussion threads, etc. The meetup will be managed by the organizers but we are relying on members for ideas that will shape the events and the direction of this group. If anyone is interested in becoming a co-organizer please indicate this in your profile introduction or send me a personal email.
We have launched this meetup to create opportunities for independent consultants and entrepreneurs working on international development issues to share ideas, collaborate and network over drinks, coffee or dinner. This group is particularly geared toward experienced professionals who own their own freelance consulting firms or social enterprises that address global sustainable development challenges (in the areas of health, agriculture, water/sanitation, climate change, economic development, environmental conservation, poverty alleviation, social development, etc.). In order to keep the group useful and productive, we ask that you answer the profile questions before joining. Our meetups will be held in NW DC.
