Can You Tell us How You Found us and What Your Interests Are.

I used to work as a documentary film maker, had work shown at festivals rather than telly. Did quite a number of participatory video projects whilst working as an agency support worker to pay the bills. Two years ago I made the conscious decision to switch my focus from being an observer to participating in the stories and people I cared about. After a year of running a community garden as a volunteer for Circle I was employed by Locality as a trainee community organiser to work along the Regents Canal and Lower Lea and the growing boating community. I am now working for a new Hackney council funded befriending service as a volunteer coordinator.

Can you tell us what sort of meetings would interest you.

Power. Conflict resoultion. Making community centres work. Bringing together different cultures and backgrounds. Housing.

Are you interested in helping by being a speaker, a chairperson or a facilitator of some of our meetings or webinars ?

We have now started to hold House Meetings. Would you be willing to host a house meeting yourself and what topic would you be interested in discussing at such a meeting?

Are there any other ways you could they help us develop the 21st Century Network idea?

Being active.

Convinced change is possible
