Go 1.6 Global Release Party - Auckland Zone

This meetup will be a part of the global release party. We'll host this one at Hapara, who will kindly provide beer and pizza.

We'll focus on some topics relating to Go1.6. There are some medium-advanced-ish topics in there, so I'll try to introduce the basic concepts first, and leave plenty of room for background info & questions.

• General overview of the release.

• Topic: concurrent map access in go1.6.

• A discussion about 'vendoring' in go1.6.

• 'Choose Your Own Adventure': we'll collectively put forward some ideas for what topics to cover in the next meetup. Maybe I'll send out a poll after the event.
