π The 2025 Christmas Gopher & Rustacean Roundup! π
Red Badger, 4th Floor 2 Old Street Yard EC1Y 8AF, London, GBπ Merry Christmas London Gophers!!! π (and a forthcoming wonderful 2026 to you!)
'Tis the time of year to think about friends and loved ones, to appreciate the past year, and to look to the future for all the potential it has! In the spirit of this, the lovely people of the Rust London User Group have been in touch with us to set up a joint event!
We'll have a couple of Go talks, a couple of Rust talks, and will end on a discussion panel for Q&A with all four of our speakers.
QUICK APPEAL!!!
The Rustaceans have asked us to chip in a thought or two on our Go (& other) experiences. They're hoping to use our feedback to help, in part, decide on the next decade of development of their own language. I think this would be a fine thing for our community to help out with if you can spare the time, and it would be a great way for us to thank them for organising the event for us all!
You can answer the survey here, and it would be topping if you did!

Tasked with a mixed audience of Gophers and Rustaceans, Bryan went for the layer that is common to both - the CPU executing the code.

We now reserve 20% of the attendee spots at our events for those who are underrepresented in tech.
If they join the waitlist and there is a reserved spot open they will be bumped into going!
These spots are reserved until the last Sunday before the event.
How do we define underrepresented? We use public surveys done by the tech community such as the ones linked below.
