After work wakeboarding at Evans Bay

Folks, I'm away for a week from saturday so if you're itching to get out wakeboarding make sure you haunt the FB group :-)

If this is your first time out on my boat relax its all very easy. Turn up at the ramp and look out for a white Bayliner boat towed by a black Toyota. I usually park beside the Coastguard building while I get the boat ready to launch.

Say hi, probably best to get into your kit then throw your gear on the boat and climb on. We'll launch the boat and get cracking.

Being Wellington it's a good idea to have something warm to wear, especially in a southerly wind.

If you need to borrow some gear i.e. vest or wakeboard then add a comment letting me know your t-shirt and foot size so that I can bring the right stuff.

And, if you are running late send me a text on 021 506046. If we launch without you we can pick you up from the beach between sets (rides). You just have to jump up and down and wave your hands madly :-)

We usually just keep riding until everyone is sated or the wind picks up. After work we're limited to light, otherwise 4 or more hours, but if you do need to leave early let me know and I can drop you back at the ramp.

Being Wellington our weather is very changeable and each forecast says something different, So... it may be necessary to cancel or change location at short notice.

Q&A's are on the discussions page but if you need some more info yell out.

cheers

Terry

Steve gave me a call... so fyi, usually set the number of crew based on time available on the water (and size of boat) so once I have a full crew thats it sorry. Meetup doesn't automatically post updates to the facebook group, if I'm having trouble filling the boat I might put a link on fb to try and generate a bit more interest. There was a happy ending :-) Steve got a spot on Logan's boat.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
