All inclusive dance calendar for the Twin Cities area to cut across genre of music and type of dancing. There is something for everyone in the Twin Cities!!! About ten years ago, Jim Uttley started his personal dance calendar on pen and paper so he would know where the hot spots of the evening and what his choices were. As fellow dancers saw him glance and refer to this calendar, they began to ask for a copy to which Jim was happy to oblige. This calendar soon grew into a 20 page Word Document, including well over 500 entries over a months period of dance opportunities. Jim retired this calendar in May 2009 to Carol Mayo, Co-Founder of Havin'a Ball Single's Social Dances. She continued the calendar through October 2009 when she moved it onto the MOFUS website, www.mofus.com. Unfortunately, this website did not take off as was hoped in the beginning and will in the near future become eliminated on the web and no longer accesible. As Carol has missed the dance calendar as much as anyone, she has decided to create a go4dancing Meet-Up group, sponsored and owned by Havin'a Ball Singles' Social Dances. She hopes you all enjoy having access to a complete listing of dance events in the Twin Cities area and all she asks in return is that you help to spread the word about Havin'a Ball to your single friends and families and perhaps, come on out to a dance once a quarter or so as that will is all that is needed to cover the monthly costs of keeping thie Meet-Up site updated.
