Let’s kick off the GoPro NY Meetup group with an EXTREME romp through NYC. The final result will be an action packed video featuring the site and sounds of New York City - GoPro style. Bring your GoPro camera(s), charge your batteries and get creative! Don’t own a GoPro? Now is your chance to try one out.

We are teaming up with San Francisco based Meetup group Renegade (https://www.meetup.com/Renegade-Photo-Shoots-Bay-Area) whose fearless leader Martha Blanchfield is in town for the Photo Plus Expo (http://www.photoplusexpo.com) at Javitz.

What’s the Plan?

Start downtown and work our way up, hitting landmarks along the way and capturing NYC in the mose extreme way we can :) This will be an all day romp. We'll break for lunch and finish the day at Central Park with a special aerial "grand finale". Afterwards we can visit the Top of The Rock for panoramic views*

I will edit together footage of the day into an action packed piece that we will be posting and sending to our friends at GoPro!

What to Bring?

GoPro Camera(s) and mounts Batteries SD Cards although I can you let you use some of mine if you want me to edit your shots Walking shoes Pocket change for Metro cards ($2.25/ride. Unlimited Day Pass is recommended though) Lunch A drink to celebrate the end of the day! NOTE: Make sure to label any of your own equipment with your name and phone number.

*Top of the Rock is a $25 ticket.
