Global Vegan Waffle Party

Woo-hoo! Waffle Party Time!

This is going to be a great get-together complete with a beautiful location, WAFFLES, a swimming pool, and quite possibly...mimosas! Come and be prepared to eat, swim, and enjoy the company of some awesome vegan and veg-friendly folks.

If you would like to participate, we need people to let us know what you'd like to bring. You can choose from:

A. a waffle batter...be creative!

B. a waffle topping like fruit, ice cream, syrup, chocolate sauce.

C. a brunch item that nicely compliments our waffle theme...like homefries, fruit salad, or some tempeh bacon.

To make sure that we have adequate supplies of all three, we kindly request that you email Carrie at carrie@govegansb.org and state which of the three you plan to bring and, if possible, what that specific item is. Carrie will reconnect with everyone closer to the event if we have too much of something and not enough of something else. Also, if you own a waffle iron, please say whether you could bring it. We will need several to keep things moving! :)

Please be sure to RSVP with the number of people attending. RSVPs will be important to ensuring that we can accommodate everyone who would like to attend. We request that you RSVP as early as possible for this same reason.

Finally, we don't want to start charging for Meetups, but, to help cover the expenses of Go Vegan Santa Barbara (meetup.com charges fees and there are some other costs for materials which we need meetup to meetup), we request a $2 donation per attendee which can be paid at the event.
