Why: I decided to make this group because I wanted to be more active in my community and meet new people in the process. I feel like a lot of young professionals are so busy with work and friends/family that we don't often have time to volunteer anymore or contribute back to the community like we should!! :)

Purpose: To promote awareness about local and national charities. To raise money for these charities in an atmosphere that promotes fellowship and altruism among young professionals age 20-40s

Goal: Meet monthly (hopefully 3rd Thursday of the month in evening) at restaurant/bar and a percentage of profits go to specific charity of the month. Will also have members from each charity available at each meeting so that people can become more aware of what each charity stands for and how to volunteer/be more active with each charity.
