Greetings!

Golden Walks [Walk2Connect partner] is delighted to host an evening amble through south Golden with Saoirse Charis-Graves, walking aficionado and Golden city council member.

This walk will be a relaxed one-hour loop at a conversational pace. It will have no set program, and exists to provide a fun, easy-going, communal and social on-foot experience to complete your day. It's also a great way to meet other 'daily' walking friends nearby.

  • Weather: We are in a season of changeable weather, so please come prepared with enough layers and/or waterproof gear to keep yourself comfortable. The walk will occur, rain or shine. However, if lightning threatens, the walk may be cancelled or shortened. Please be sure to RSVP so we can notify you in the event the walk is cancelled.
  • Schedule: We will meet at 7:00pm in the grocery parking lot, make introductions, answer questions and lightly warm up, leaving no later than 7:05pm. We should be done walking by 8:15pm. You can, of course, leave early if you need to. PLEASE ARRIVE 5-10 MINUTES EARLY if you need to use the restroom or complete a waiver.
  • First Timers/Waivers: If this is your first time walking with this walk leader or if you have not completed a Welcome Waiver this year, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to connect, learn more about the walk, and complete a waiver.
  • Parking: There will be plenty of parking in the parking lot.
  • Restroom: Available in the store at the start and end point.
  • Dog Friendly! We will be doing a loop back to our starting location. Please consider whether your dog can handle 3 miles in the current season and insure that your dog is calm, well behaved and MUST stay leashed. Please be sure to bring baggies.

Golden Walks are intended to be very informal and to give us all unique opportunities to connect with one another, with ourselves and with our surroundings.
